“With just one piece of paper, creativity can grow endlessly.”
I am a former educator from Thailand, now based in Navan, Co. Meath, and I bring a patient, friendly approach to teaching through creative origami workshops.
I have been teaching origami workshops since 2023, sharing simple, creative, and beginner-friendly techniques with children and adults in a relaxed and supportive environment.
I believe that having a hobby is essential for balance and wellbeing. Taking time away from work or study to learn something new helps keep the brain active, supports self-discovery, and brings a sense of happiness.
Origami is one of my favourite hobbies because it is simple, affordable, and full of creative possibilities. Origami helps develop concentration, problem-solving skills, and confidence through hands-on learning.
Origami is also a wonderful way to learn about another culture. Through paper folding, we experience the beauty of Japanese patterns, design, and tradition.
I enjoy many creative activities such as painting, singing, dancing, sports, cooking, art, and learning new languages, but origami holds a special place in my heart. Teaching origami brings me great joy, especially when I see children and adults feel curious, excited, and proud of what they have created. Watching faces light up with surprise and smiles is what inspires me to continue sharing this craft with others.
